Where I stand

Have known of the link for a long time and was tempted to post in the cool site of the day, (cool for news/political junkies anyway). I didn't want to duplicate the effort of other dwellars' work, so I searched and found this thread.

I would be interested to see the results for others refreshed or in some cases, posted for the first time.

Here is my result:

Your political compass
Economic Left/Right: -6.12
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -5.28

from what i see of this scale, i'm damn close to being a centrist, but in relation to the general cellar population i'm going to start hosting fundraisers for the nazi party soon.

I actually dislike the way several of the questions are phrased. I don't think there's enough subtelty to answer many of them accurately.

But all in all, I guess it really didn't deliver much in the way of suprises.

Wow, my quadrant is very lonely. I'm in the lower right.

Your political compass
Economic Left/Right: 7.63
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.41

I'm between Nelson Mandella and The Dalai Lama as far as my non-authoritarianism (aka libertarianism) and I'm very much on the right for economics. I'm nearly in the exact position as Milton Friedman, only slightly less authoritarian (more libertarian) than him.
