May 17, 2011: Saving big bucks

A friend of Cellar dwellar Alluvial took this pic - while evacuating deer trophies from the flood waters of the Mississippi.

I saw about the youngest fawn ever today. The little thing was crossing the road behind its Mom and got stuck in the ditch for maybe 20-25 seconds. All shaky legs and spots.

This picture was taken by Mississippi's State Coordinator for the National Flood Insurance Program, somewhere in the Mississippi Delta.

I'd like a wider-angle shot where we get to see Mr. BigHunterMan's young children shoving the boat through the water with all their strength. I assume that's how it's powered.

(a) that's kinda creepy.
(b) but if you didn't save the heads, it would be like the deer died for nothing.
(c) float that boat in the Thames and you could call it art. You could probably get a grant, too.
(d) Take 12 deer, remove all but the heads. Hang (walls are good) for 5 to 10 years. Marinade in Mississippi flood waters ...
(e) I've racked my brains, but puns elude me.
