If a song really sucks, can we un-vote it? I mean...we can second songs, can we detract them based on thumbs down? If we can, please please please don't include Unchained Melody. *shudders* It's seriously the most overrated wedding dance tripe ever to cross the pike.

Maybe Unchained Melody belongs in a 'Most covered song of all time' thread right behind Eleanor Rigby.Neither are my favorite songs but they are/were very popular. This thread isn't your favorite rock songs of all time anyway.

That's true, what's popular isn't necessarily any good. So, the trick is to sift the good from the merely mainstream. That's what the final 4 will end up being, the good, if'n I know me some musicians!

Case in point: Old Time Rock n Roll can bite me...but EVERY band EVER covers it.
