It did shock me to find out that Michael Jackson was a pedophile

But possibly even more shocking was the announcement that Sir Rod Stewart has spent the last 23 YEARS building an unbelievable, massive, and wildly intricate model railway.

I am completely in favor. Well done Sir.

Thank you for not ruining Sir Rod for me.

I'll buy that. Running the trains isn't much of a challenge, but building the set is great. It's something new all the time, finish one piece and if you're satisfied with it move on to the next. Always looking at the trash to see if there's a soup can that might become a water tower, or a piece of foil to incorporate.

Running the trains is harder than you might think. At least my teenage self thought so when I broke a friend's train set by confusing the controls and rear-ending one car with the engine. The little plastic bumper and latch snapped right off.
