Watched "The End of the Tour" about David Foster Wallace, with Jason Segel and Jesse Eisenberg. Really excellent.

That's a funny show. Silly but not as self-congratulatory as 30 Rock.

Jusr watched the first ep of The OA.

awesome.

Also discovered there are more than 2 seasons of Episodes. I'm disappointed Daisy Haggard's character is so one dimensional, it's a waste of her talents. Also the Mangan/Grieg sexual insecurity thing is getting threadbare, hoping things move forward.

I've heard good things about Luke Cage, but he's gonna have to get in line. My "I finally spent my birthday & Christmas gift cards" movie order showed up yesterday . Age of Ultron, Guardians of the Galaxy, Ant-Man...and Big Trouble, a movie that manages to be almost as funny as the book despite starring Tim Allen. Of course, it also has Dennis Farina, Patrick Warburton, Heavy D, and Janeane (sp? It's 7:15 and I haven't been sleeping well, too lazy to look it up) Garofolo. That one's been on our "and we don't own this movie WHY?" list for a very long time .

Heh.

Tried to watch that w/Momdigr. Everything was cool right up til they showed a couple fucking like two caged bitch minks in heat. That was a little awkward.

Like the opening scene of Betty Blue.

Awkward first date.

It's like 20 minutes - half an hour into episode one. Haven't gotten back to it yet.

Yeah, that was about it, so far. Seemed gratuitous.

Watched the Sense8 holiday special It had a lot of fluff. It was 2 hours, but should have been 1 1/2

Just finished the latest season of Halt and Catch Fire. Holy shit this show is so fucking good.

It's about the whole arc of computer technology from 1980 to... the present day I guess, eventually. They've made it to 1990 so far. The period-piece aspects of it are solid, but not overdone. The tech is accurate. But like all good shows, it's really about the relationships, y'know.

Dana, you in particular would adore it.
