We Voted today

Keryx and I voted today the first day of early voting. And we still had to wait, something tells me that people might actually show up and vote.

There was a line at 8:30 am yesterday at my polling place, too, here in conservative suburb land. Can't say for sure who they were voting for, of course. But more people care than have cared in a long time.

Mid-terms are usually lower turnout but this is the 2016 turnout...

Grandmadigr voted last week or the week before.

She turned 100 last spring.

I asked Popdigr if she had the mental faculty to make a decision like that. He said she knew everything there was to know about everyone she voted for, and everything about everyone in their family going back eleventeen generations.

Small town, local stuff election-wise.

I voted first thing Monday, 8:30 AM. There was a 10-15 minute line. My mom and aunt went a few days later (different precincts, though) and waited 50 and 90 minutes, respectively. It may be equally high on both sides of the aisle, but numeric totals are for sure higher than I've ever seen.
