It's a moot point now, but Eurythmics over Genesis with Phil Collins. Genesis with PG was a totally different animal.

also: CSN should be CSNY. i mean really. there's a big difference.....CSNY includes CSN's work. CSN excludes Mr Young. fix that UT?

Genesis wins. (With or without Gabriel! Nobody has put together an album like Trick of the Tail, and Collins' drum sound, which was actually developed for Gabriel's third album, literally defined the 80s.)
