September 23, 2011 Sun Angel of Africa

A pile of very cozy Sun Angels.

In some regions of Africa, the meerkat is called a Sun Angel. The belief is that they have been sent by the gods to protect the people from the moon devil.

I don't know how protected I'd feel what with meerkats weighing in at right about a pound and a half. Moon devils are werewolves after all.

Here's some Otters putting the Kittycumbotty on a Crocodile. The music is limpwristed so turn down your speakers.

Interesting? Ohh, I think not. Fascinating perhaps, but not at all interesting.

There are a whole series of them now - adverts I mean.
I got a toy meerkat (dressed like Alexander) from playing the camel derby on holiday.

It doesn't make me buy the product - having no car! - but it doesn't repulse me the way some adverts do.
