FWIW it's bands, individuals will not be counted, unless there is a ruckus and people demand it.

I seconded "yes"

I also sencond "Grateful Dead".... those whacky druggies went for years on tour with millions of fans.... AND with no "produced" albums...

They only wanted quality bootlegs of their concerts.

If i were to approach Garcia and ask them to sign my pirated copy(s)
(unlike Metallica) they would.

How can a dead guy (as opposed to a Dead Guy) sign a copy?

Nominations will remain open until there are no nominations or seconds for a while. Since the place is slow, there could be some folks who aren't reading all the threads, who would want to participate... as long as we don't get re-farked soon, the performance problems should die down soon.

I'm thinking after we've done 64 of them, we can then have a meta-field of 64 and pit them all against each other.

Seeding might be a bitch though.

seeding sounds dirty....

did I say that already?

Buddy Holly inspired John Lennon and the early skiffle Quarrymen (including McCartney) ....

so, i guess even though the Beatles and Stones raped the music field with "Britsh pop blues"

OK

second the bloomming bloodsucking bastard BEATLES (the stones would be a followup, but they just tagged alone and tried to be different)
