Tulip
Clean as a lady
Cool as glass
Fresh without fragrance
The tulip was

The craftsman who
Carved her from metal prayed
"Live o thou lovely"
Half metal she stayed

(Humbert Wolfe)

Having my hair cut tomorrow, might fling you a pic then.

Speak like a true Texan. But have you seen a field of tulips in full bloom? I haven't either but the pictures are pretty.

Nice poem. I shall be waiting for your picture. By the way, I'm getting bored of my hair. Thinking of getting a pixie haircut once the weather warms up. What ya think?

Did you catch my post where I say I live with my mom who's conservative and old-fashioned? I may be 40 yrs. old but I won't be able to get away with a radical hair color. A while back I highlighted my hair red. You can see the brightness of the red on my black hair even indoor. Boy, my mom was very unhappy for a long while. Said it looked like a horse's tail.

Yea, dye it green and tell her it is for your new found love of the Irish and that you always wanted to be Irish. Do for St. Pats Day.

I'm keeping everything crossed that we have "wear something red" for Comic Relief in March. The school is already selling the Red Noses so I assume we'll be doing something. I'll definitely wear a red wig if we do. Yay, bright hair again!

Current hair following haircut/ recolour on Thursday - you can see my fat cat in the background. Actually looking fatter than he is because he's squished out over the sofabed arm.
