I'd be a ghost and haunt some old library or laboratory; when I come across some inquiring young investigator I will ask them to set various things right so that I can "find peace", and then make up the most bizarre quests for them - I always wanted to place a pink bucket over the head of Michelangelo's David - and see how long it takes them to realise that I'm just messing with them.

I can't imagine anything more horrifying than being a Republican, so I figured, if'n I were going to be undead, I'd want to be really scary. I also want to sit around and smoke cigars and drink single malt scotch and point fingers at the heathens. Not sure about the fat pasty white man look, but hey, I'll be undead, what will I care?

All the other monsters are SO last century. 'Cept that lice guy, I don't know who that is.

Technically, werewolves are not undead, although they are supernatural creatures. I chose Republican Werewolf (not that much of a stretch, I suppose), and after I'm ready to retire or my best beloved shoots me with a silver bullet in a tragic denouement, maybe I'd find a nice situation as a beansidhe.

So, not only do I get to drink blood, but, I get to eat brains, too!

Life, with just drink, would suck.

(I'd hope the relative sophistication, of a Vampire, would rise above the obvious lack of sophistication, of a Zombie, so that I'd retain my intelligence, and not become a mindless, instinct-driven drone. Plus, with the Vampire's ability to regenerate, I'd not look like a rotting pile of flesh.)

So... basically... I just want the "Zombie" part, so I can eat brains, guilt-free. =D

(Technically, 76 is average life expectancy at birth. Since I have lived to 37, my life expectancy is somewhat higher, so I can aim at maybe 80. That buys me two more years (38 to 40) and when i get to 40 I can recalculate again.)

Clod: You're only young for a certain time, but you can be immature as long as you want. I want. My inner child is in charge, and occasionally begrudgingly allows the repressed adult to take over to do things like earn a living.

The picture question is a good one, but I am overly wary about the internet. What goes on the net stays on the net, sort of thing. I am very cagey, perhaps needlessly so, about putting my picture or personal information on the net.
This does have a price. I have missed out on being in the cellar collage, and have never been 'shopped into one of Monsters creations.

Wolf: I figured you'd go for werewolf. And I was wondering about whether they are really undead. I put them in because (a) most humans become werewolves by being bitten by a werewolf, which would be fatal except that they survive in werewolf form, which seems like being undead, (b) they can only be killed by magical means, if at all, (c) they are believed to have powers to regenerate, and (d) I felt like it.

I was trying to convince my nearly 12 yo nephew yesterday that he wanted to be a werewolf rather than a vampire, on the grounds that if he became a vampire right now, he'd be patronised throughout eternity because he looked like a child.

Morbid conversation to have at a wake (yes, we were) but it was at his introduction and I remember when I couldn't have imaginative conversations with adults, so it was worth exploring. Not sure I convinced him, but if I hear a tap, tap, tap at my bedroom window, I will let him in. He'll need someone to intercede with the adult world after all.
