Jan 31, 2010: Sexy Furniture

Most people keep their butt in a pair of drawers... now here's a drawer in a butt.

These erotic wooden furniture pieces are by sculptural furniture maker Peter Rolfe. You can’t really tell in the second sculpture, but the bust opens up as well. Whether or not this sexy furniture is your thing, the craftsmanship is undeniable. More From this anatomical collection can be seen on his site. Don’t worry ladies, there are male versions as well just click on Sculptural under his portfolio tab.
LINK

I hear clicking.

Yes I did click it and was amazed at the beautiful art work! Was a little disappointed at the 'lack of detail' on the male version. LOL

One is reminded of the furniture in the milk bar in Clockwork Orange.

Let me guess as to what he uses for a drawer pull.

Craftsmanship Denied.
Exhibit A) Tilman Riemenschneider 1460-1531

Ft3, those are great links...

Sometimes it's great fun to discover something new, and so beautifully done.
Hard to believe such hand carvings are even possible and are still around after all this time and wars.

Thank you for the links.

ETA: It also shows what happens when you mess with a Prince-Bishop

Several years ago there was a Riemenschneider show at the Met. One of those "last time ever in your lifetime" shows. Seeing the carvings up close was amazing, they looked as soft and flowing as water. Some of them were completely shot through with worm holes, still amazing.
