I used to love getting the bumps
The blog makes it sound quite polite, but in fact you are HEAVED up in the air and it's incredibly exciting (do you know A Leg And A Wing? I loved that too).

I wish adults got the bumps. We get rollercoasters, but they cost more.

I've bookmarked the site to read later at my leisure.

yeah, bumps is definitely more about being thrown up into the air and scarcely restrained by your limbs than it is about being delicately lowered to the ground.
