And don't eat pizza or lunchmeat. Or biscuits!

Get the myfitnesspal app. Just to look up sodium content in foods

That would eliminate 80% of my weekly diet.

Maybe I should get checked out too... just in case.

Yeah, you start looking at how much salt is in everything and you realize you might just as well be smoking cigarettes.

I know a woman who grabs the salt shaker before tasting anything, even pizza. It's a wonder she's alive.

Thanks fargon, I appreciate it.

I'm feeling good. I also have another update in the works, but as I have an appointment to meet my cardiologist for the first time today, I'll wait until after that's happened to add it to the post.

Just being sure of what it is brings some relief.

I second this. Glad they found the issue and are treating it.

Heart issues aren't good, but if they can be treated now that you know about them. My mother died at 43 of a massive heart attack. Both her parents (my grandparents) were diagnosed with congestive heart failure 20+ years before they finally passed. Grandfather had quintuple bypass surgery and grandmother had quadruple bypass surgery. Both lived for a long time (~15ish years) before they passed. I've heard bypass only "lasts" 10 years, but if you listen to the doc it can last longer. All that to say, this doesn't have to be the end. It is better for them to catch it now than for you to have a heart attack out if the blue.

How did your appointment on the 19th go?

Popdigr has 16 years on a quintuple. Still going strong (and I mean strong) at 75.

He walked eight miles the other day. He walks the perimeter of the local park occasionally, about two miles, and it was a pretty day, so he made some extra rounds.

Hey everybody. I'm still here, still kickin. I feel great, I'm happy to report. And I'm writing my report, so to speak. I like writing it while it's fresh, but it's a lot of writing and I have a few appointments that have all blended together.

I don't want you guys to think I'm unappreciative of your warm thoughts and well wishes. Far from it. I'm just trying to get my thoughts captured.
