Looks like a castle from a German fairy tale - or the castle from Chitty-Chitty Bang-Bang????

One of those insects that looks like a leaf with nitrogen deficiency.

something turtle related. One of those segments of the shell. Like a soccer ball segment.

glatt correct!

The turtle's shell consists of these what they call "scutes", which shed away one piece at a time.

So is it OK that it's shedding, or is that some kind of disease or something?

Totally normal, it's like a snake shedding, except that the turtle doesn't need to shed everything at once. Once the scutes come loose, it means the shell underneath is hardened and ready to protect. This one was partly green only because algae grew on it.

The original is very low rez and this is blown up considerably, but I think it might be from a famous painting.
Any ideas?
