We're looking at a foot or so by tomorrow, I'll take some real snow pictures for you if I can get out the back door.

We mostly get freezing fog up here on the Idaho/Washington border. Nothing worth taking pictures of. The resulting black ice on the roads does make driving into work entertaining at times.

Jim's still driving home. I can't believe they let him go already, what if someone suddenly realizes they need a 4WD??

It's been snowing fast since a little bit before 1100.

At around 1530, I realized that I had to go and get the mail, so I decided to use the time to wander around a little bit.

The ducks don't seem to be minding it too much.

It's important to know when you've had enough.

Irish Coffee is probably just the thing. But I'm too impatient. I'll be drinking the Bushmill's straight out of the bottle.

We got all that stuff yesterday--6 inches of it. They've said were to have 4-6 more by tomorrow, with freezing rain thrown in for good measure. Great pics, all of them. Wolf, I'd love to join you in a bottle or two as drinking is the only sensible thing you can do while waiting for the snow!

Perhaps a new thread should now be started called, "Words of wisdom written under the influence."
