I just watched Game of Thrones (season 1) on HBO on Demand and I'm HOOKED like the geeks and nerds that come here are hooked.

!!

That said, wolf, you're welcome to come hang out with me for a few days if you wanna - that old bedroom that son #2 was stinking up? It's a beautiful guest room now!

You're welcome to come on over to Ohio anytime!

This was why I got directv last year. To watch this show. But I cancelled HBO back in June, because the free period was almost up. Maybe they have some kind of new deal going.

It's a nice show to spend an evening at home once in a while, but it ain't no big deal. Soap opera with swords. Don't you all find it a little bit ridiculous?

Not in the least. But hey, not many here agree with me on much anyway.

No more ridiculous than anything else and I like me some dragons. And hot savage horse kings!

I'm on page approximately 50 of the second book. Can't wait for the return on the show.

It would be cool to see them (Bethesda) do a Skyrim type game using Martin's world.

I am halfway through the second book and in good company with spex. I'm glad I am not the only procrastinator.

About the second book. I keep waiting for something good to happen. I keep reading for the dragons, and hoping the little starkletts will grow up ( as opposed to getting killed )and kick some butt.
