Kasick - a Lehman brothers nightmare come true for Ohioans.

Is there anything he can't fuck up?

Effing USA Today, which is out next to the register where you pay for your coffee, had pics of a lion and tiger, dead, from this incident.

Bullshit to sell a paper. Do they show pics of dead people after some nutjob like this man went on a rampage?

I really didn't want to see that this morning.

Very sad.

I've heard that there are more tigers as private pets in the state of Texas alone than there are left in the wild in the entire world.

Which is kind of good, since it is a safeguard against extinction, but is otherwise bloody depressing.

I just don't get why you'd want to have a tiger as a pet - or any other large feline for that matter, or other non domestic animals really. I can only figure it's for the kudos of being able to say you own one, and what's the point in that?

Well I reckon Mr Thompson had no problems at all with burglars.

One more reason why people hate the TSA:

Loaded gun in checked bag: Take a later flight.

Express unhappiness at being fondled in public: Your cell is this way.

It's kind of weird that it went unnoticed then it FELL out of a duffel bag? What, like the duffel bag was running around open?

There is probably more to the story that is not being reported ... if there weren't, the owner would not have been able to take a later flight to Portland. It's not weird at all. Checked baggage. It didn't go through the groping station.

They find all kinds of things that go through checked baggage. This is where the next issue will arise. (read bomb) There is no way they can search through all the checked baggage. It's just not going to happen - matter how much you inconvenience everyone.

I still don't get a gun just 'falling' out of a duffle bag. That's just bs.

A lot of unlocked bags and cases are opened for un-official inspection by vigilante inspectors who are looking to supplement their income. Sometimes, they don't get the bag closed in time before someone shows up.

happens all the time. All the time.
