...as to whether my 64-bit version of Windows 7 will work on my PC. Please look at the following window captures, and advise.

Any advice will be much appreciated.

It's 64 bit capable.

I'm still confused. Is that a Yes, or a No?

Incidently, I'm running the 32-bit version of Windows 7 Home Premium right now.

It's a "yes, it should". But who knows what you've done to your PC since it left the factory that might eff it up, and who knows how unpleasant you'll be if it turns out it doesn't work and someone said it would?

Well, I'm now running the 64-bit version of Windows 7 Home Premium. It seems to be runnng fine. The amount of recoginized RAM even jumped from 3.44GB to 3.94GB.

Maaaybe, maaaybe not. If it's still running ok 3 weeks from today, I shall consider it a success.

Again, that's recognized RAM. Allow me to explain. A few months ago, installed 4GB of RAM in my PC. The 32-bit version of Windows 7 only acknowledged 3.44GB, but now, with the 64-bit verson, it acknowledges 3.94GB.

Hope that clears things up. :)
