Playing the "Space Hippes" Festival in Austin, Texas

My brother's band Luna Solarium is the opening act, tonight, October 14th, to this "rave" type festival, and then headlining main stage on Saturday the 15th. This is bohemian, peace and love music. They needed a kit drummer for this gig, so I'm filling that role. As usual, I wasn't seeking a gig, but I'm more than happy to sit in and do my best to create a solid foundation for the band.

Apparently Luna Solarium has some following on Reverb Nation, bumping them up into the Google search:

The only danger is, you may come to like it too much

Go, Bonzo, go!!

Why do I refer to all drummers as Bonzo?

ETA: What's a "kit drummer"? Srsly. (I suspect I'm overthinking this.)

A space hippie? You bet I wasn't aware of that...

Ohhhhh...hippIes. I was all like "my Olde English Hippes are quite spacy, too."

Or something.

When I saw the title, I immediately thought of a Lost in Space episode. The one with Daniel J. Travanti.

And, of course, the Star Trek Original series classic, Way to Eden.

I have a friend who is a musician in Austin. She plays theremin. I don't know if she's ever played that venue.
