Oh...that explains it. I've seen all those chemical plants and refineries in Houston.;)

That's why I asked what I did...I wonder how much pollution plays into things like sunsets.

I live about 15 miles west of downtown, but still well within the city. Most industry in Houston is over on the east side.

I don't think pollution has any thing to do with the coloration seen here (and it had just rained, anyway). A lucky combination of sky, clouds and sun angle.

Just kidding about the Houston pollution, Net. It's obviously coming from Mexico.:D

Actually, I don't really know what that tag line means, it's set on default. Everytime I post it changes, but of course you know that being the seasoned Cellarite that you are. Anyway, if you had read my reply to your STD comment you would know that I Love Bugs Bunny, hence the screen name LUVBUGZ. I thought that would be sufficient info. for you to make your suggestion, but if you need more......I love animals (all animals, not just the cute fuzzy ones); I'm a wildlife biologist (field biologist to be exact); I work w/ sensitive, threatened, and endangered species; yet oddly enough, I also like hot-rods ('32, '33, & '40 Fords especially), and hand guns (no real favorites, I like um all). Thanks NBN. Glad you came through for me. I think I'll stick w/ LUVBUGZ:) I was joking about my delicate feelings, although I do tend to take things personally quite often. In fact, I just spent a good two hours (I know, sounds obcessive) composing the perfect hum dinger w/ cuss words and everything to reply to this animal right's thing we got going in the Big Pig thread and just as I was previewing my post, my huge piece of flaming shit computer froze and my masterpiece is gone forever:( I'm sooooo pissed right now you wouldn't believe. actually that picture (if i remember correctly) was taken the evening before hurricane claudette came through se/sw texas.

same view only now, it's tropical storm "grace". i'll try and get a pic later at dusk, but i don't think i'll be around, (goin' to the folks for dinner)
