Ummm...lessee...got all the laundry done. Got about half of my "honey do" list done...of course, April's not forcing me to do shit while she's gone. I just thought it would be nice to knock a lot of stuff out while she's out of town, so I made my own "honey do" list. Going to see a few local bands tonight, then Heaven & Hell tomorrow. Fuck yeah!

No soccer games this weekend -I think everyone stayed home to eat scottish breakfast =Yummy Kippers or something.

Everything is okay with Teenyfob! I've been referred to a specialist, but supposedly under his watchful eye things should stay fine. Things are much less stressed in the fob household today.

my kids' homework is done!!!!!

This evening, we did grocery shopping at an actual grocery store, for the first time since...I can't remember. Included a pleasant, 6-block stroll through Society Hill. Everything else aside, having the time and not being too tired to do something like this was kind of amazing.

I didn't know that Spaghettios are owned by Campbell's now.

Employed? Why yes I am. :D Just got the call, I'll be snuggling up to the gooberment teat next week.

Thanks, monster. My fiance just closed his store, which had ruled our lives for the past few years. Being self-employed doesn't always mean freedom, like they say it does!

In my experience being self-employed doesn't mean that you are your own boss, it means that each one of your clients is your boss. I'd rather be an employee anyday :yelsick: .

I got a promotion at work! I will now be over more operations. I get to dump some of my duties I do not enjoy onto other unsupecting fools and take over some of the business I enjoy. MUCH less travel and more pay! Win. Win.

I'm kind of glad this this particular job is not long-term, as it's further away than I'd want to travel for more than a few months. But it'll give me time and funds to put together a really nice portfolio, and shop around for workplaces with shorter commutes.
