Good on ya.

Hey griff, I hope all works out well for you. Sometimes it's just time for a change.

Griff 11-07-2014 06:06 AM

Thanks all! Money wise this is a lateral move but the work will be very interesting.

I do know they really want me to stay, but the department appears to be unappreciated inside the greater organization. The organization has a growth mania which does not appear to help folks do there best for clients. I've never been good with big organizations so a lot of it is probably me.

It seems the business of education, is more about business than education. The philosophy appears to be, it's cheaper, more efficient, to crush the minion's dreams when they're very young, rather than going though the charade of 'you can be anything you want'. :(

It seems my grammars were broke too.

I am happy about the cakes I put out this week. The Calavera one has received excellent reviews and the customers were very happy. There is a picture in my cupcake thread if you want to see. I am just very happy with how things are going although not too impressed with the markets lately. Cupcakes are not selling as well as they used to, although my local market is still good, so I'm thinking of dropping back to just doing one per month in town here and working on cakes the other weekends.

I'm happy that Sundae called me this afternoon on Mr Bell's electric telephone.

We had an enjoyable chat and, although I always knew it, she's frighteningly well read.:notworthy

Money wouldn't make me happy today.

glatt 11-19-2014 03:20 PM

Sorry, man. I hope things start looking up for you soon.

BigV 11-19-2014 03:58 PM

I'm getting better at programming, and that makes me pretty happy considering I enjoy it a lot.
