Wow! Nobody ever sees bobcats!

Clodfobble 09-20-2010 06:55 PM

Minifob's first day back at school, and I got an email from his teacher:

Quote:

Then on the way to the bus today he was wanting to be partners with James, so he looked right at him and said, 'James, please hold my hand... be my partner.'

And what was Mr. Clod's response? (To me, not to the teacher.)

"Well, it is kind of gay... but I'll take gay over autistic any day!" :)

What's making me happy (or amused...can't decide) is seeing that the cellar community is quite capable of decending into mayhem without my help.

Suck on that faggots! lol (That's an oz joke. I'm sure casi and ducks will get it...and Zen if he ever appears again)

Don't you think the teacher would have gotten a laugh out of that one? lol

Anyway another happy thing. Lil Griff's team was winning their game by a wide margin when one of her teammates drove a ball which went up the defenders stick and hit the poor girl in the arm / ribs knocking her out of the game temporarily. Lil's teammate crossed over to the other bench to check on her. After the game the opposing coach gave her a good sportsman t-shirt they apparently keep on hand when they catch kids doing the right thing. That was just nice.

What a nice thing to do and what a great idea by the opposing team.

Interesting idea, having shirts on hand. Did they have the team logo on them too?

Oh, sorry about your Bobcat.;)

monster 09-22-2010 08:55 PM

That is such a cool idea.

Yeah, logo and all. Somebody planned ahead.

classicman 09-23-2010 07:37 AM

Just reread this - I still think thats really awesome!

I wonder if those shirts are on hand because they're normally given to their own team members for displays of sportsmanship. That sounds like a good plan for any youth team.

Sounds like a good plan for ANY team.
