I checked at Wegmans this ... uh, yesterday morning and they do have them.
In my defense, along the back wall is about a 60 ft section of glass doors and shelves 5 ft high loaded with an amazing array of liquids. It's easy to miss things.

What dairy are they using down there?

xoxoxoBruce 04-29-2020 12:46 PM

I didn't notice but the bottles were exactly the same.
Hmm, I wonder if Wegmans buys the bottles then hunts a dairy close to a group of stores to fill them? There are 5 stores around here. Would cut down on a lot of costly shipping. I'll check out the dairy next time I go.

Yes! I managed to get a proper supermarket home delivery sorted out.

Delivery due Weds 13th May, so 2 weeks away. I've allowed substitutions on all, so it will be interesting to see what random nonsense they replace any out of stock items with :P

It's from Asda - which I am not mega thrilled about, am not generally a fan, but it's a delivery and its a full shop instead of the piecemeal shopping I've been doing.

Also - the Morrison's £35 food box was interesting - they skimped on the milk (2 pints to last 2 people a week - which is what they claim a food box will do) but included 2x gigantic blocks of Cathedral City extra mature cheddar.

Meat selection was decent: pack of 2 corn fed chicken breasts, a large pack of minced beef, a pack of 16 rashers of bacon and a pack of 8 very good quality sausages.

The rest: Big bag of onions, bag of carrots and a bag of new potatoes, a cucumber, a punnet of grapes, an Uncle Ben's rice sachet thingy, some toilet rolls, kitchen roll, a loaf of bread, a pack of pitta bread, tin of tuna, 2x tins of soup, a bag of penne pasta and some gravy granules.

Not bad for £35 incl. delivery.

Fantastic. Glad the delivery worked out for you.

That's a better plan.

My Texas land sold today, and I am ecstatic. It's more money that I have ever had before. After I pay off my truck, and buy a pontoon I'm to give the rest to The Lady Keryx. Who will invest it properly.

I guess that we will have to make do with our weekly visits.

Giving the rest to Lady Keryx IS investing it properly. ;)

You should entrust the entire sum to your financial adviser or broker who will invest it for you until it has all gone. ;)

I gained the confidence to do so by watching Youtube videos. I see minor flaws in the haircut, but that's as it should be. We should have a reason to pay the pros to do it. He's happy though, and so am I. I used a pair of old dull clippers my dad used to cut my hair with when I was a kid, and a brand new barber's pair of scissors I drove an hour to purchase from a curbside pickup hair supply place.
