The kid is unhurt, he "fell asleep". The car is out of commission. It was a maple my brother-in- law transplanted years ago. He apparently killed a lot of roots because that kid should be dead. The tree soaked up all that energy and shattered, crazy.

Was the ground soaked? Not sure where the rain stopped, but the ground here has been very soggy all week.

My uncle suggested he could sell some of his weapons to pay for damages. I actually loled. They're dirt poor and armed to the teeth as God™ intended.

Wooow...
Happy the kid's ok. Wood is tough. What a great story you made with your camera. Wow. |

I've been on this pandemic-inspired fix up my house jag. Some of you may remember that about 13 years ago I started an ambitious addition to my house project that stalled after double rotator cuff injuries, divorce, depression, and wolves. This year I was determined to get the addition sided. Yesterday I got the gable end completed. I'll post photos later.
It's a huge feeling of relief and accomplishment. I still have two more walls to do but they are smaller and not as complex. |
Now we're rocking!

Nice!

Not quite as dramatic as Griff's door and foootsie's work, but I finished the gravel round the AC unit project. Before, it was muddy with a few straggly weeds and became a quagmire when the faucet was in use. I have also worked on the faucet connection being less leaky, but it's just an asshole. I bought the stuff and started this projecct a while back....then stalled. But now I is done and I are very happy with it :D

Very tidy looking.
