I replaced my refrigerator's door gasket all by myself. Go me!

Go Clod! Good onya.

Yzn, the syrah is a HIGHLY underrated drink, IMHO. It's what Merlot tries to be ;) Enjoy!

Where did you get it? Ours needs replacing, but I'm having trouble finding one.

Clodfobble 12-04-2008 04:04 PM

This place. All you need is your model number, and they'll even tell you where to find that sticker on your particular fridge.

I'm impressed. I didn't know you could do that.

By the way, the old door gasket makes great refrigerator magnets. You just cut it up into 2 or 3 inch lengths and take the mildewy white vinyl plastic off it. You can get dozens of magnets strips out of it this way and they look pretty good. Whenever I see a fridge on the curb near my house, I can't resist cutting off a length of gasket for fridge magnets.

I'm happy because after today, I only have to drive into the city three more times to pick up the kids after school. That's brilliant stuff as far as I'm concerned.

Also it means they're on holidays (vacation) so we'll get to spend some time together. :)

Christmas bonus day! woo!

I am so lucky.

Clodfobble 12-05-2008 04:49 PM

AH HA!! I finally found THE bubbles. They are tiny and plentiful and the soap is thick so you can catch them on your finger. There is no substitute (believe me, I've tried) and it took a great deal of internet searching to figure out where to find them.

tamales!

bought from a friend of a friend; brought to our office; right out of the steamer (these people make them every day starting at 3 am!)

1/2 doz long green chiles with cheese (rajas)
1/2 doz chicken in green chile

They also had rojo (red, which has pork I think). They're all yummy! $9 dozen.

Want some?

There doesn't seem to be any evidence of a reversal of the permabanning in the near future.

I feel like I can breathe again.

Did you get laid by a stranger?

Badger says the couch is making him happy right now. It's holding his ass up off the ground.

I'm bone tired from fencing tonight. While we were at Candlewood fencing last weekend the club owner gave lil' Pete a new weapon. It is heavier than what she's been using and really appears to suit her well. Very cool. We also picked up a new adult fencer at our club this week which is a pleasant change from the vast numbers of little people we've been getting. He also wants to learn the local mtn biking scene since he hasn't ridden since leaving China.
