How much wine am I supposed to drink?

There are no directions on the bottle.

There's a reason you can't get the cork back in.

monster 10-12-2020 08:37 PM

It probably says 750ml on the outside....

footfootfoot 10-12-2020 08:42 PM

It says that on the outside but there's nothing left on the inside

I could barely get it off the corkscrew.

Urbane Guerrilla 10-14-2020 11:22 PM

Maybe you want a better corkscrew. Was it really that stiff to unscrew?

I only buy the worm type, never the auger type.

monster 10-14-2020 11:41 PM

If it's as stiff to unscrew as to screw, you might want to reduce the little blue pills.

If you're buying the worm type, you might want to increase them.

The last wine I bought was Mogen David Blackberry. 3 liter bottle, I think.

Attachment 71733

It was ~$18.

So, it depends on how much wine money ya got?

Screw cap, btw. Screw a cork. (<--See that thar, what I did?:)) Ya snooty bastidges.

Isn't that like syrupy-sweet? 10% alcohol could mean that there are a lot of unfermented sugars or that it wasn't so sweet to begin with. I'm guessing it's the former.

Until I saw Gravdigr's party bottle, I'd always considered wine to be delivered in single sitting containers, irrespective of the number of wineglasses involved.

Horribly so. And thick.

I use a really tall, fat glass, and, hang on for this now, pour it over ice.[/redneck] Yeah, I know.

It thins the stuff down from being overly thick.

lumberjim 10-17-2020 08:04 PM

Mix that with sprite and you're boujie

monster 10-18-2020 11:49 PM

nah, boujie requires La Croix

lumberjim 10-19-2020 08:09 AM

Ah, oui.

footfootfoot 10-19-2020 02:31 PM

Seltzer and ice and it would be like grape soda for (almost) grownups.
