Ahhhhh......

All the lovely rain we've been having. I can almost hear my plants singing for joy.

I just noticed the Politics section and Entertainment section had the exact same number of threads, but the Politics section had about 8k more posts.

We had thunderstorms and hard rain last night. It is still Winter, but the warm front and the storms made me very happy. I slept like a baby, falling asleep to the rain and the thunder. Awesome!

We had thunderstorms here too yesterday morning. Very rare for Feb in Iowa...was really cool.

#1) 6-12" of snow likely by this time tomorrow.
#2) Red is coming down to go to lunch with me, and we are going to my favorite pizza joint for 1/2 price pizza day.
#3) I'm going to start swimming again for the first time in years tomorrow, depending on the weather. (See #1.) YESSSS!!!

watch out, that water might be a bit chilly.

That's was I was looking forward to the other night, but we got one blast of rain and a slight rumble. very disappointing.

I'm going to attend the Washington State Democratic Caucuses Coming Up on Feb. 9th, 1:00 pm. Don't bother calling, I'll be busy. Actually, I'm really stoked! I will explore what it takes to get to the National Convention as a delegate. That would be COOOOOOL!

Indoor swim practice was cancelled. Got my exercise instead walking through 10 inches of snow while pulling a sled full of 55 pounds of pup repeating 'are we there yet?' the whole time to the closest sledding hill, climbing up it 50 bazillion times, then walking back home.

As of today, I have lost a total of 30 pounds!

Way to go!!!!!
