If they gave you more time you'd write a fucking thesis, and you know it. They're trying to make people write a quick and to the point summary and get to hell back to work. :yesnod:

Statistically, the number one reason for people leaving their jobs (at least over here) isn't pay; or, promotions...it's feeling that one has been insulted.

Maybe you can work it into your self-evaluation that you've demonstrated heroic levels of self restraint by not insulting your cow-orkers thus maximizing retention of human resources. ;)

That isn't why. The idea is that you should be collating stuff (examples) through the year and working on your document along the way. What generally happens is people end up with a mad rush, because there just isn't time to do it through the year without using up your lunch hours. There isn't enough time to do what we need to do for our job, without adding this bullshit.

I write way less than most people - maybe about 500 words. I had a 30 minute write up session and then worked through half my lunch hour.

Definitely wouldn't write a thesis.

Falling is easy. It's all in how you land. Landing can be hard. Didja land hard?

Gravdigr 06-28-2019 11:44 AM

It was a proper hard landing.

Right on the the side of my hip.

Still feeling it, but no biggie. No bruise to brag about show for it.

Gravdigr 06-28-2019 11:44 AM

Didn't know I was falling till I landed.

Griff 06-29-2019 07:43 AM

I did that two weeks ago Sunday. I still have a knob on my hip.

sexobon 06-29-2019 08:23 AM

Sounds like a trend, must be a couple of hipsters.

Griff 06-29-2019 08:25 AM

DanaC 06-29-2019 08:28 AM

My fucking back. Again.

Had to have a week off work with it - then was back in work last week - still not right though

Starting to piss me off now.

Griff 06-29-2019 08:35 AM

DanaC 06-29-2019 09:08 AM

It went for something and nothing as well. I had a sneezing fit - that's it. Just a fucking sneezing fit.

Ah well, it could be worse - I could be working this weekend - and I daresay the gigantic joint I just rolled will make me feel better :P
