And you ain't shar'n ?????

DucksNuts 07-09-2007 10:18 PM

I'm not sure what exactly is making me happy today, but I am in a good mood :D

Oh, n yeah, shar'n would be good.

Ibby 07-10-2007 12:27 AM

When I go back to MD...

Either Caro's gonna get back with me, and I'll be wonderfully happy again...

Or she doesnt, and I hook up with my ex Savannah, and some of Mimi's hot gay friends.
Including that couple she mentioned that was looking for joint action. Can you say, hot gay three way?

This is shaping up to be a good summer...

DucksNuts 07-10-2007 12:34 AM

Ibby - I thought you were getting over Caro and moving on??

Option #2 looks like it will be educational AND heaps of fun ;)

Ibby 07-10-2007 12:46 AM

Well see, the getting over her/moving on comes in if we move down to option number two... I mean, I do love her, and I'd rather be with her than not, but if that doesnt work out, I plan to make up for it for sure...

Cloud 07-11-2007 11:42 AM

I'm through with my 11-day fast protocol. Made it through without too much cheating, I think. Made it through my fast day without undue hunger. Kinda put me in a strange headspace, though.

yesman065 07-12-2007 08:48 AM

My 17 year old son told me he wanted to hang out with me this weekend - for no reason!

Uisge Beatha 07-12-2007 09:52 AM

Ah, the bosses are all away and the weather is beautiful. I've got fresh air blowing in and some Chieli Minucci playing, and I'm still getting things done.

HungLikeJesus 07-12-2007 10:15 AM

I rode my motorcycle today and I didn't hit the three deer that were standing in the road at the top of the curve.

DucksNuts 07-13-2007 01:36 AM

FINALLY!!! after nearly 4 days, Clyde (my dog) gets to come home from the vets!

He gave me the most pitiful look when I left him there plus he was knocked out the times I called in to see him, so he probably thinks I have deserted him.

rkzenrage 07-13-2007 02:28 AM

Teh sex.

LabRat 07-13-2007 10:57 AM

Whoot! :)

jinx 07-13-2007 08:38 PM

It's berry-picking season.

Those look awesome jinx (unless they're the ones that are poisonous).

A couple nights ago, the Nickleback/Staind/Daughtry concert. Today it's my new photography site making me veryyy happy. I think it is a huge improvement over the Blogger page. See signature link and feel free to comment there or download.

Uisge Beatha 07-14-2007 05:24 PM

Today makes one month since I registered with the Cellar. I'm really beginning to feel like one of the family. Thank you to all who provide laughs and intellectual stimulation. I'm happy to share in it all. :grouphug:

rkzenrage 07-14-2007 05:30 PM

jester 07-16-2007 02:35 PM

the son finally got his learner's permit today :D

Stress Puppy 07-16-2007 05:03 PM

I got a set of collapsing measuring cups for 30% of the normal price.

Also, I got 10 bags of Lindor Truffles from Lindt, as well as a bunch of chocolate bars.

It's also the last day at a shitty, shitty job so all around good day.

CzinZumerzet 07-20-2007 05:48 AM

Sitting here at the table in the bay window looking at the soaked dark brown empty beach, the tide coming in like liquid silver, and the dark navy coloured rain stuffed clouds entirely concealing the Welsh coast and thinking that if I'm still sitting here in about ninety minutes time, I can glance out to watch the queen of England walking past my window.

It is very slightly unreal I suppose, coupled with the mounted police quietly ambling along patrolling the promenade, and the crowd barriers which magically appeared overnight. A crowd? Here in Weston-super-Mare? A crowd of what? Oh and it's pouring with rain, obviously.

piercehawkeye45 07-20-2007 05:54 AM

I had a really good work out for the first time in a year or so.

Sprints at 3 AM under a perfectly clear sky then inside for some boxing and body resistance workouts.

CzinZumerzet 07-20-2007 04:52 PM

We have forgotten what clear skies look like.

HM came and went without getting her feet wet, no walkabout in the pouring rain so I stayed in and watched it from the dry and warm. Shame for the kids who had been standing in rain coming down like stair-rods waiting with their little flags waving, and all they saw was the big car go splashing past.

Still what's making me happy tonight is that I'm indoors, warm and dry and not flooded unlike vast swathes of the country tonight and I hope the other Brit-Cellarites are in and dry like me. When the big tide comes, as come it must one day my home will go but until then - anyone know Noahs number?

My interpretation:

Cops chased PH45; he tried to hide in a building but they found him; they punched him for a bit and wrestled him to the ground.

piercehawkeye45 07-20-2007 05:41 PM

LOL!

That would be a good workout I guess...

Squid_Operator 07-20-2007 05:53 PM

Everything.

Every emotion comes from inside, has nothing to do with the illusion of the external world.

One can be perfectly content living in a box with a set of jax.

xoxoxoBruce 07-20-2007 05:58 PM

Make that a set of Jills and I'll agree.

Squid_Operator 07-20-2007 06:04 PM

Is there room for more than one Jill in a box?

DucksNuts 07-20-2007 08:38 PM

You'd be surprised what you can fit in a box

bluecuracao 07-20-2007 08:54 PM

Oh my

shouldn't this be in the "upsetting" thread? :p

MalzB 07-20-2007 10:09 PM

The fact that I just had a really good dinner and topped it off with a yummy McDonalds sundae with extra topping. There is just something about those that is just soo good.

HungLikeJesus 07-25-2007 05:14 PM

The tablet PC that I ordered has just been delivered by UPS. I stayed home today to sign for it.

I cleared out the living room and set the box in the middle of the floor. I haven't even opened it yet.

I wanted to tell you first.

DanaC 07-25-2007 05:19 PM

*Is very excited for HLJ* That's very cool. I hope you understand that we expect a full report on your initial experience of said new tablet PC.

HungLikeJesus 07-25-2007 05:21 PM

Thanks DanaC. I had decided that I wouldn't open it until someone responded.

You have freed me.

I wonder if I can do a hand-written post?

DanaC 07-25-2007 05:24 PM

I like the handwritten posts (handwriting thread, can't recall where it is).

You must mean this one.

DanaC 07-25-2007 06:31 PM

That's the one!!

Flint 07-25-2007 11:47 PM

frumby = me happy

Ibby 07-29-2007 08:28 PM

Mmm, shopping with a total cutie later this week... excited.

piercehawkeye45 07-30-2007 09:20 AM

Tomorrow I leave for a week of vacation and get to play at my first show.

jester 07-30-2007 11:18 AM

I love to sneak up on people and just stand there until they notice I'm there - it's totally funny - especially the guys here at work:)

elSicomoro 07-30-2007 08:16 PM

I got out of jury duty...I had to sit through voir dire, but I'm not on a jury. Now I have tomorrow off...I'm gonna kick back and schmoke some weed!

(Of course, that's not gonna happen...but I will kick back and do nothing tomorrow. Maybe I'll just play PS2 all day.)

Undertoad 07-30-2007 09:42 PM

So the judge figured you couldn't put the guy to death by electrocution, huh?

elSicomoro 07-30-2007 10:09 PM

Yeah...we don't have firing squads here in MO, and that's the only way I like 'em dead.

rkzenrage 07-31-2007 02:55 AM

I am the fuckin' MAN!!!
A whole slew of nekkid chicks that are half my age want to be my friend and talk with me on MySpace and only half of them want to charge me for it!

Ibby 08-02-2007 01:27 AM

Yesterday: Guitar shipped, debit card arrived (you're welcome for the tip jar hit, UT), and got off work early

elSicomoro 08-02-2007 01:45 AM

Made a lot of money in my first day of work since Friday...and didn't have to see anyone in tighty whiteys.

Cloud 08-03-2007 11:21 AM

I got a raise! A whole dollar and 23 cents per hour. Is that a lot?

;)

Depends. What percentage of your previous pay is it? If it's more than 3% then you beat inflation. Yay, you!

Or something like that.

Anyway, what's making me happy? Flight to England for graduate school is booked. Flight to San Francisco for gf's cousin's wedding is booked. Now I just have to sort my student loans and visa out and I'm good to coast for the next year.

freshnesschronic 08-03-2007 11:32 AM

saved a bunch of money by switching to Geico
other than that, enjoyed some girly drinks with my friends before they all left last nite, Smirnoffs.

Ibby 08-03-2007 10:25 PM

I've got 780 in the bank and 100 in my wallet.

HungLikeJesus 08-04-2007 01:18 AM

I'm leaving for Germany in 11 hours.

Sundae 08-04-2007 04:24 PM

I walked past the construction yard at the bottom of the street about 10 minutes ago. In my own little world, thinking about how a black cat I'd seen had genuinely looked like a moving piece of darkness but how it was too cliched ever to use... I noticed as I passed that there was a dog on the other side of the gate and wondered if it was a guard dog. I had to look again as it seemed awfully small and skinny to be a guard dog and frankly a little unkind.

It was a fox.

Seeing a fox is one of my special things and when I'm feeling frivolous I pretend to believe it's a good omen. I know some people with large gardens and urban chickens hate city foxes. I say Yah Boo Sucks to them, if they are blessed with big gardens they have to take the down side with it. Says me who has a tiny yard.

That might have been a bit optimistic. I should have said I was scheduled to leave in 11 hours. We've had a bit of a delay. The good news is that we might get to visit Chicago and London along the way to Frankfurt, but will be arriving about a day late.

SG - As I was preparing breakfast this morning, I saw a fox walking through the yard, behind the garage. I tapped on the window and she came to the front porch. I opened the front door and went to the kitchen to get an egg. When I turned back, she was standing in the front doorway.

I said, "You're not supposed to be in here," so she backed up and waited on the steps. I gave her the egg and she walked off with it in her mouth.

Maybe it was a good omen.

Uisge Beatha 08-04-2007 04:42 PM

Foxes, both of you? I don't know if that's a good omen, but it's pretty darned cool. The most exotic we get around here is a raccoon - whoopee.
