Bravo Beest!

Good on him. Beest, that is. Actually, both of them.

I found a little "Hebe" purse on ebay, paid $25 inc shipping on Sunday, (which is an awful lot for a little purse IMHO) It arrived already and is pretty much as new and just her colors and has a belt loop and everything and is as cute as all get out (and I don't use that word lightly...... or at all if I can avoid it). I think she'll love it :D

(B'day and Holidays coming up for daughter of that name)

(dunno if the link will work...)

anyhoo generally shitty and crazy day, cheered me right up.

Yes works. Oh Hebe is a brand, or style, but actually the name.
Nice looking. Yeah, cute works. I should think that style strap would be just the ticket when you have to carry other stuff like a laptop, books and shit.
I think you done good.

monster 10-15-2015 10:42 PM

yes, it's a brand and older styles in the line seem to be sought after. I think it's the same one as we did our first "best offer" on a while back, but I can't ask her because this one's a secret! I don't get the whole designer thing.

I also have a Hebe watch coming.... :D She likes watches too...

Excellent. :thumb:

I did get chills from the trailer.

glatt 10-20-2015 09:15 AM

Now I just need to keep my expectations low and avoid reading any reviews or anything.

First showings are on Thursday, so I just have to stay offline until I go see it on Friday.

glatt 10-20-2015 09:54 AM

It's kind of crazy. I remember seeing movies as a kid and standing in a long line that had to be almost a block long. And now I have tickets in October for a movie in December.

Sundae 10-20-2015 09:58 AM

It's better though!
I remember we only got children's films for a few days at a time in Aylesbury Odeon - although I admit it might just have been that someone was available to take us for a few days.

I can name three films off the top of my head that we queued up to see, only to be turned away because the cinema was full.
I don't remember crying or whining, but I probably did. Hey, I was a child.
I've still never seen more of Bambi than clips.

In my town, we had a couple multiplexes that had TWO screens, and then there was the old one on Main street downtown that just had the one big screen.

Gravdigr 10-20-2015 02:14 PM

Didn't really make me happy, but, it did make me smile, and I'm too lazy to go looking for the smile thread, so...
