I won't say how little I'll be making, but think early intervention for low SES kids not designing things that go boom.

Excellent! What will you be teaching?

theotherguy 09-27-2007 04:11 PM

it seems you will be working for a worthy cause.

Special Education in a Head Start program. I was in Head Start as a kid so it kinda closes a circle.

Sweet! Stay with it and get a pension, even if it sucks as time goes on.

I didn't know that Spaghettios are owned by Campbell's now.

sorry, but I missed why you haven't been able to do this. Whatever it was, glad to hear it's on the up, even if the spaghettios news is worrisome!

Well, it's about time you got off your ass and helped Pete carry the load. Break a leg, Man.

While waiting for the bus I saw a guy joyfully roller blading down the street, clapping his hands and singing a song.

On the flip side there's these goddamn workers doing shit right outside and on our siding and they won't let me sleep. It is loud.

Thanks, monster. My fiance just closed his store, which had ruled our lives for the past few years. Being self-employed doesn't always mean freedom, like they say it does!

In my experience being self-employed doesn't mean that you are your own boss, it means that each one of your clients is your boss. I'd rather be an employee anyday :yelsick: .

I am happy to read of others good news, congrats all!!

Despite getting my period again last week, my blood tests came back normal/good. Hopefully we've just been really unlucky timewise. Next step? Getting hubby to give a sample. Easier said than done. Heh.
