congrats filthy. Now, can you put in a word for wolf? They must need someone to keep all you nutters in line....

plthijinx 05-10-2011 10:27 AM

Ty and right on! Heck we could use her at the track as well!

footfootfoot 05-10-2011 10:34 AM

Great News Philthy!

monster 05-10-2011 10:34 AM

humph my funneh got the orphan post position again.

DanaC 05-10-2011 10:35 AM

I thought it was funneh.

However I think that lot might be a stretch even for Wolf's calming talents.

Clodfobble 05-10-2011 01:19 PM

Rock on, Fred! I'm glad it's all starting to work out for you.

plthijinx 05-11-2011 12:31 AM

Thanks clod! And i caught your funneh too monnie!
Only thing that sucks us i just now got home from the track. Its almost 12:30. Alarm goes off at 5:15. Ugh. Whining, not complaining! I'm more than doubling my income so that makes me smile. And 3foot? I like the spelling of philthy! Ya nutteh!

Sundae 05-11-2011 10:09 AM

Today, Tiger asked me to tell him before I went home.
I usually slip out quietly because I either leave during afternoon registration on my short days, or while the afternoon topics are being introduced on my medium days. I do say goodbye on Thursdays, because he works with me one-to-one before I leave.

So that felt like a breakthrough and I agreed I would from now on.

When I told him it was time for me to leave he put his arms around me and kissed my cheek! I smiled all the way home. Tiger is quite a kissy child when he trusts someone - I've seen him kiss at least three classmates - male and female - as well as his little sister and both his parents. I'm very flattered, but I won't allow it to become a routine, as that's not my role. I might see if we can have a simple secret handshake or something.

Still smiling though.

Very cool SG. :)

This morning, I woke up before Baby. It was light already, and the sun was filtering through blinds on the window. The slatted light hit her just so. I lay there for probably a half-hour, just watching her sleep. Watching her breathe. Listening to her barely audible little grunts and noises she makes in her sleep.

I do loves me some Baby.:D

There might be a poem in there somewhere.

DanaC 05-11-2011 04:24 PM

Is 'Baby' the name you've given her on the Cellar for anonymity, or do you actually call her that?

Poor thing. And you can't even rest on the weekends. At least you're smiling, a weary one, but it's still a smile. Congrats, by the way. :)
