Heifer = Female bovine that has not yet calved.

We bought her to add a pedigreed purebred Maine Anjou to our herd. We have been breeding strictly for 4 H calves but want to breed purebreds. This female could produce either kind of show cattle. [breeding / 4-H] She is also a viable donor female which means we can flush her and sell embryos.

Last year we added a half blood Simmental female. Some breeding cattle that are of the right conformation and pedigree can be sold for as much as $100,000 If someone paid us that for an animal we would probably faint but we want to try to work our way into the upper echelon of breeding cattle. :)

Are these bred for meat or pets?

Our best friend moved in with us... its gonna me party central and I"m off floor duty! total awesomeness... on the down size he comes with 3 cats.... on the upside 2 of them were Flint's to begin with.

i just got an email from carmax. now THIS is cool. these are the pics that i ran through on their website but when i showed interest in the truck they took the page down. now that i bought the truck they sent me the link to share with friends, family etc. pretty cool!

I feel a little silly posting this, but I have more Wheaties! I ordered two more cases just before they raised the price to $75, and they just got here. I have enough cereal to last until August!
