haha...there's not that much difference you know. It's just that you'll need to learn how to relax if you come to live here. All we do is sit around in the sun drinking beer you know. ;)

The city waterworks have been effing around with installing new water lines and meters for months now.

As I walk through the barangays lately though, it seems that they are all done breaking up the roads and killing the water pressure for our homes. :)

What is making me happy today is enough water pressure to run the shower head instead of using a plastic bucket to shower.

I took some frozen veg out of the freezer earlier this evening.
To go with my second piece of sirloin steak this week (happy number one)
And I could pull the drawer out easily thanks to the defrosting I did earlier today (happy number two)
And I cooked it for less time today, so it really was rare (happy number three)

I am thrice blessed!

Doesn't matter how I'm feelin or what the weather is like, the view of the town from above, nestled into the bowl between the hills, with the Pennines stretching off into the distance, behind. Always makes me feel good. Oh yeah.....and watching Pilau gambolling about like a yearling:P

I am coming to visit you, you know.
I want to walk in your landscape and feel the wind in my hair.

And maybe tidy your house. Not saying it needs it, but I have to reciprocate somehow. Naaaaaw, will just try and write you something for Christmas ;)

We just found out today that MB's been hired for a job. Now he's celebrating by making fresh fried donuts. Oh yeah, and this morning, he baked a quiche.
