He also wrote this fine work, which features the tuba nicely, and you'll hear it if you have something configured on your system to play OGG files, such as Quicktime:

"Easily" is a relative term, of course! I tried on a fibreglass Bb Sousaphone about a month ago and boy, is it ever heavy on the old shoulder! But this li'l Eb was just irresistible!

How about a picture?

Assuming you mean me, then there is a pic of the instrument here, and I'll get one of me playing it when I get it (later this week).
Meanwhile ...

Survived my first First Day as a teacher. Only 179 more days to go! Prob. won't be seeing much of the Cellar for a while, which is a bummer, but I'll try to check in when I can!

classicman 08-25-2009 11:29 PM

please do!

My brother the ex art teacher highly recommends the book Don't Smile Until Christmas. He considers it a must-read for new teachers.

A million years ago (pre-VCR/DVR) when I was 19, I was on the Match Game. When I got my DVR, three years ago, I started recording reruns of the Match Game, to see if my show ever came up. Three or four episodes a day for three years, and finally, yesterday, there I was!

Now I have to figure out how to record the thing onto a disc so I can upload it to YouTube and share it with you goofballs....

Cool!

Clodfobble 08-27-2009 01:31 PM

Wow! I wanna see!

Queen of the Ryche 08-27-2009 02:08 PM

I loved that show! Probably the drunkest, smokiest, crassest, funniest crowd on the telly - they'd be banned int his day and age. Bring em back! We wanna see Glinda!

glatt 08-27-2009 03:29 PM

That's really cool. I want to see it too. Did you meet Charles Nelson Reilly?

Shawnee123 08-27-2009 06:46 PM

Oh wow Glinda. I have to see this. And, I'm really jealous!
