Thanks y'all! My only regret is that I never got a chance to get back to Britain. I needed more training if I was to stay, but I can't stay.

My job now is to write the job listing for the person who will replace me. It's funny how that goes. I will be arguing for them to make more money than I did. Otherwise they will never find another me.

They'll never find another 'you', no matter what they pay.

Just plain news here, stories that have brought a smile to my face as I listen to the news this morning.

Kam Chancellor has returned to the Seahawks after ending his two game holdout. He was missed, I'm looking forward to his return to the team.

The President of China, Xi Jinping, is visiting Seattle. His motorcades are playing absolute hell with regular surface transportation (shutting down a large stretch of I-5 today for 45 minutes, a commute to Tacoma, during rush hour today, probably closing I-5, I-405, and SR 167). Anyhow, an order for 300 (!) Boeing 737 jetliners. Hubba hubba, that's a lot of airplanes.

And lastly, Donald Trump announced that he's not going to appear on any more shows from the Fox network because they're treating him unfairly. This is the giggly kind of happy. WTFF? I don't even know what to make of this. It's just typically pompous. Poor, poor Trump, being maligned by Fox. y'see? I can't even type that without grinning like a fool.
