If you go into Central Pennsylvania, you'll find a lot of places that sell bison burgers, claiming that the meat is healthier.

I don't know about the health benefits, but it was tasty.

Bison is actually healthier than beef, it has less cholesterol for starters and less fat. It tastes remarkably similiar to beef, but it is usually drier in my experience.
