Daughter's necklace -given to her by her first boyfriend in a very romantic way "went missing" in the pool locker room 10 days ago. After pleas for its anonymous return, it just showed up tonight!

Finally - work are seeing that I am under utilised!!

I have never been in a place this long and not progressed up the ladder...but I guess it has been a bit harder because Upper Management are quite removed from the day to day stuff and I was only a casual employee, so I didnt get much time to shine.

Anyway - a little while ago I was given the task of running the Customer Service Team and a permanent part time contract...thats been going really well.

Now I will be running the next recruitment drive - which is huge for this company. We will have over 300 applicants and its a long induction process.

I will also be looking for my replacement, so I can get into the "meaty" jobs which will be project type roles.

Yay me

I have the best kids in the world. Sorry all you other dwellar parents, but seriously, they've been so good lately. Mav even cooked dinner last night, and then did most of the cleaning up!

This morning I got a text from Aden saying that his English teacher is really happy with his last assignment - which never happens with Aden. English is his hate subject (as is the case with most teenage boys I know), but I was just so happy to get that news. He's been trying hard, and it looks like things are finally starting to pay off.

Oh, and Max ate all his breaky without much fuss at all. That's a win in my book any day.

Got to take carrot to the vet today for some xrays (possible joint problems on the way ) but that's not what's making me happy. I got up much earlier than usual today as have to drp him in at 8:30. He's not used to being up and about so early. He's been doing the cutest arched back stretches as he walks about. Like a giant kitty cat. And he smells of warm, sleepy fur.

Had horrible dreams last night about the hubs, then got a phone call this morning. Definitely a great way to start my day

My back! I pulled something this morning and it hurt so bad i could hardly move and was whimpering like a wet kitten. I thought I was for sure PT bound (I have degeneration of the spine and a history of this type of injury....)

After two hours icing, I could move to go to the bathroom and take a shower. it still felt a little dodgy, but I decided to move around a litle and just be sure to bend at the knees ets...... It's all better now! So happy

(odds on waking up unavble to move tomorrow........ )

Tell me about it. Stuck my head out this morning and found out it was a cool 68 degrees. Seemed like a sin not to go jogging.

Sorry to hear this, Monster. Back pain can be a real b*tch. I've seen my mom and a few others with back pain. Hope you get better soon.
