No, but something weird happened. When I reloaded the "View new posts" page or whatever, there was a link on each one saying "Go to first unread post" which is the thing it's been missing. I thought you had added it or something.

Guitar string breaker.

No, I just discovered it. I had never clicked it before. When the button didn't load, the text "Go to first unread post" showed up and I was like "Dude, The Tone rules!" But then I realized that it was just that button, and while the Tone still rules, his ruling-ness is less supreme that what I thought it was.

Well I DID finally fix the footer in IE.

(Can't believe it looked like crap for so long. Will everyone please just use Mozilla already!)

For real. The last time I used IE was... oh yeah, yesterday. To do my timecard. Well, outside of work, it's been a long time. Mozilla & Firebird & Safari & Camino are where it's at.

There are still some garbage sites that break if you don't use Exploder. And we have a database at work with a web access module that refuses to work without IE. Which I always thought was stupidity incarnate--I thought the POINT of web client access was portability.

Hmmm... fixing it just made them less likely to do so.

It was, until Bill Gates decided he needed to rule *that*, too.

Gack. It's even in telephones... I'm scoping out new PBXs, and the one that really makes me say, "hmmmm, this is cool, I'd like to have this one" is built on Windows 2000. I mean it's an embedded system, they could have used any OS they wanted. It's the one thing holding me back from giving it my whole-hearted recommendation, because I'm concerned about stability and security.
