The inchling has requested bacon for tomorrow's breakfast. He actually requested "bacon now" when we were discussing breakfast. He caught on to the difference between "now" and "tomorrow" pretty quickly and is not easily put off any longer.

So bacon with hash browns and eggs. Coffee for me and "big juice" for him. Big juice is our own Orwellian term meaning a tad of juice and a bunch of water. He prefers it because it is BIG. How much longer this will last...

I just realized, that's also the traditional Catholic breakfast.

On a more delicious note, I noticed yesterday that a nearby gourmet spot has omelets with gruyere and sundried tomatoes. I'm having that today.

I would have no clue where to even start with making a breakfast burrito...but it sounds yummy.

Generally a filling of scrambled egg, a little potato diced or shredded in the fashion of hash browns, some sausage. Maybe bacon as well. Seasonings to suit, anything up to hot salsa. The whole clad in a flour tortilla.

that sounds good. this was a simple affair, tho. just butter and grill a tortilla, blop a bit of cream cheese in there, 2 scrambled eggs, and a thin line of grape jelly. roll it up, and tuck in. glurg.

Ah well maybe they don't open down there for breaky. They've only been doing it up here for a year or so...maybe a bit less. They're pretty much the same as a bacon and egg mcmuffin only wrapped up in lavash instead of on a muffin.
