I'm guessing the lenses were linearly polarized. I wear only sunglasses with circular polarization with which that doesn't happen. The illumination level through the lenses remains constant with changing viewing angle. They're also photochromic (lighten and darken automatically).

But wait, there's more. A big headed, good hearted guy from the pot hole state of PA. sent me some shades and a clip-on. I've yet to thank him. But I will.
No thanks necessary, brother b. I'm still wearing my tequila shirt. We're all square in my book. I hope they work out.

Well the as seen junk is about like all of that crap. I've not been out at night, so don't know
about the shades LJ sent or the night time part of the junk.

As for those idiots who think driving around with stadium lights is cool, they're a fucking hazard to navigation. It's not you, buster, it's them. It is *wrong*, it's *UNSAFE*, to be driving around with lights powerful enough to cast a shadow of the car they're following when that car has it's own headlights on. There's a picture around here somewhere, I swear to god. My car is relatively low so even marginally out of alignment headlights can be a nuisance. Those fucking death-star, crime-scene rolling illumidiots... dangerous. I've been known to pull over and let those assholes by.

Really man? A shadow of my own car's headlit area in daytime. Fuck you.
