Today

*I watched Life and thought Charlie Crews is the ultimate badass
*I checked the chlorine level on my pool and wished I'd sprung for the heater
*I began the day in line at Walmart
*I purchased things for a family I'll never meet that I'd never purchase for my own
*I saw myself in the mirror and asked aloud where my 20's and early 30's went
*I sat at a bar looking into a mirror and remembered... too much
*I squeezed a boy and wished he had better
*I squeezed a woman and said "no"
*I squeezed a woman and said "anytime"
*I drove past a patch of dirt in the desert and felt remorse
*I swallowed scotch and said "more"
*I swallowed scotch and said "why?"
*I read posts and said "really?"
*I read posts and said "fuck yeah!"
*I thought of some people and said a prayer
*I thought of some people and uttered a curse

Today

* I got ready to go into town
* I asked my parents to pay a bill for me so I didn't have to go into town and spend money I don't have
* I got my Bundt cake ring
* I decided to pay the full amount of postage on my Instant Pudding purchase because I'm sick of waiting for combined postage (they will be getting neutral feedback)
* I snuggled with my cat from when he joined me at 06.43 until I got up at 08.20ish
* I let my parents' cat out at 11.50 because I could hear her bonking around.
* I watched I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here Now, recorded last night
* I asked my parents to tape I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here tonight because I'll be at a quiz night

I'm assuming this is along the lines of a Psalm - where one line either reiterates the other or is the opposite?

I likey.

>I ran out of war themed things

Today
>I took care of business
>I felt responsible
>I watched my child sleep
>I felt guilty for wishing he was as peaceful and easy to love when he's awake
>I neglected business
>I can make up for that
>I wrapped my child
>I dreamed for my child
>I planned for the future
>I regretted the past
>I shivered
>I snuggled
>I noted it's only 10am and the day still has planty of potential
>I heard my children start to wake and I smiled

I woke up too early and rolled around in bed for a while.

I made coffee that was too strong because somebody moved the grinder to "super fine" level.

I drank the coffee and read the Internets.

I hugged J when she woke up and came down to see me.

I woke up at 7:30 am and felt good it was a late sleep for me.

I am happy it is Saturday, although one day of handing in assignments seems much like the other.

I sent photo of artwork my sis had given my son to a friend in Canada. He said he wanted to commission her.

The house is quiet. It's early and it is so peaceful. I am not disturbing that much by doing anything but reading and drinking coffee.

I woke up with both cats lying on me, purring

I hit the snooze alarm

I finally got up and put the coffee on

I opened the curtains and turned on the classical radio station

I remembered that today is my ex-husband's birthday

I poured myself a cup of coffee and sat down to check the Internet

I reminded myself not to dink around too long because I have to get ready to go into work at noon.

That's all so far

Today I:

*Woke up and wished she was here with me.
*Showered and wished I was there with her.
*Watched some porn bloopers and fuck-ups on the interweb.
*Cooked and ate a bacon-wrapped sirloin strip.
*Screwed around on the Cellar.
*Wondered how to get. Stoned or drunk, or, stoned and drunk. And how best to get that way.
*Wondered if the mushrooms are ready.
*Trimmed some bud.
*Noticed for the gajillionth time how my weekends seem to rotate around aclohol, and drugs, and sex, and the pursuit of same.
*Got TFO of the Cellar, and went looking for sex, drugs, and rock and roll.

They were okay. Ate some last night. No real trip, but, light-headed all night, and lots and LOTS of laughter. I'm sore today from laughing.

- Told my (step) daughter 3 states away how to make raspberry truffles
- Ate 2 zone bars
