Tom DeLay announces RESIGNATION

Tom DeLay is calling it quits. Unfortunately, the damage is already done. DeLay is in court, fighting charges of using dirty corporate money to influence political campaigns (his cohort Abramoff just got a seventy month sentence). The problem is, if DeLay is found guilty, the campaigns that he rigged will not be overturned. And the Texas campaigns in question gave enough seats to the Reps to force a grossly partisan re-districting plan, in order for the Reps to gain more national seats. You see, this dirty money situation in Texas has influenced politics for everybody. And so DeLay, facing the heat, is resigning. So what? The damage is done. If he goes to jail, who cares? The damage is done. These "powerful" men are disposable, the agenda was still a success.
