I know that in a odd little Disney Duckville-themed illustratd mini-novel I had as a kid those criminal dog-type guys ended up on a tropical island eating breadfruit.

But Bligh, thinking "if at first you don't succeed..." got it done a few years later.
Maybe they should call it "Bligh fruit" in the West Indies.
