Now what do I do?

The loved one calls me last night.

She has a new employee and she wants me to call her to help "train" her. Never mind the bad grammar.

This call will cost money. I demanded a discount...no word on the response (lost cell signal in rural WY)...yet.

So, so I do the secret shopper thing or be upfront about who I am and why I'm on the line?

LJ, I *know* your response already!

Brian

oooh, better do the secret shopper thing, cause if you were to tell the "trainee" who you were and it didn't work out (job) - they could tell your "loved" one that you told who you were and then "loved one" would be ticked at you.

Have you ever called a friend or loved one to pretend to be a telemarketer to

a. see if they recognize your voice

and

b. see if they would buy the ridiculous thing you try to sell them?

the loved one hires customer support peeps? If so, how would it help train them if you told them who you were?

You should be paid to help train. Not have to pay.
