question re: photo software
So, I've acquired a smattering of different photo-handling software junk: Picasa, Jasc Photo Album, PS Album Starter, etc. My pics are a mess, so I decided to buy Photoshop Elements and concentrate on learning that and organizing pics that way. I have a very simple Kodak EasyShare point and shoot digital camera. (Idiot-proof, which is obviously why I can barely operate it.)
My question is: Can I delete the variety of other programs, specifically including the Kodak software the camera came with (which I find intrusive)? If I delete all the other programs, will it delete the pictures associated with them?

It probably will not. (No reason they should take the photos with them, but I'd still back them up anyway.)

Any smart uninstaller will see that files that were not there for the install are there and not remove them. This would be in the case of a program placing photos within it's own directory. If that is the case, you'll probably want to move them so you have all of your photos in one place.
