British football fan not a couch potato
 England soccer fan Michael Mime prepares Thursday to watch Friday's World Cup quarter-final between England and Brazil on a bed of 1,050 nails. He will lie on the nails in the street and watch the game on a portable TV. Mr. Mime said he suffered watching the English team play in previous rounds, and found to his surprise that he was able to tolerate the pain of his new bed.
