MMO

I've been fascinated by massively multiplayer games and worlds since they first began to appear and have played quite a few(most briefly, a few across months or years). I've been off the circuit for awhile, about two years in fact, and am thinking of trying one of the new arrivals: Age of Conan.

One of the things that attracts me to it is the emphasis given on the site to roleplay and the possibilities for character development in a roleplay sense.

This got me thinking. I recall a thread that was about gaming but didn't want to trawl through. I just wondered who else here plays, or has played MMOs, from early online roleplaying games, through World of Warcraft, to non-game virtual worlds like Second life.

If you've experienced them, what did you like about them? If you roleplayed what was your favourite character creation? How do you experience virtual worlds?
